Anchor Trust commissioned Devon Interiors to provide full Interior Design, Procurement and Fit out services for their new build 60 bed care home in Surrey - Moore Place.
This fabulous care home has five 'communities' over five floors, with between seven and fifteen people in each community. The home has been designed for both frail & elderly customers aswell as those living with dementia. To accommodate the needs for all of the different customers coming to live here, we have designed the interior of the accommodation areas to be as flexible and adaptable as possible. To achieve this and give our client the best basis for intake of customers, two of the floors are designed specifically with those living with dementia in mind. Within these floors we have paid particular attention to ensuring floor finishes are similar in tone, wallpaper patterns are subtle and all fabrics and are not too heavily patterned. The other three floors are designed with a touch of opulence in mind, including more vibrant wallpapers and fabrics. Furniture has more of a freestanding look to it, with a more 'high end hotel' feel. As well as all accommodation facilities, the home also boasts a variety of amenities including:
