A new hotel group approached Devon Interiors in 2018, with a request to assist them in getting The Auckland Hotel (which was already being refurbished) over the line so they could open to the public.
An outline concept prepared by another company had already been approved previously so there was a starting point with some fixed elements already on order. This was definitely a challenge, but anyone who knows us well enough know we love a challenge! We reworked the concept for all rooms, keeping elements that were in construction or on order and produced 3D visuals for Marketing. We were able to create a version of the original design that was not only build-able, but affordable too. Devon Interiors followed the project through construction and upon completion, fitted out the Hotel with Furniture, Feature Lighting, Soft Furnishings, Homewares and Artwork. The Hotel opened for the Easter break and has received fabulous reviews! |
